AuthorsLab uses cookies and similar technologies on authorslab.ai. This policy explains what cookies we use, why, and how you can manage them.
We've kept this short. Writers don't need more small print.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember things - whether you're logged in, your preferences, or how you arrived. Some cookies last only as long as your browser session; others persist on your device for a set period.
We also use similar technologies including local storage (to keep you logged in) and pixel tags (small invisible images that confirm whether an email has been opened).
2. The cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the platform to work. Without them, you can't log in or navigate the platform. We don't ask for your consent to place these.

2.2 Analytics cookies

2.4 Third-party cookies
When third-party services are loaded on our pages, they may set their own cookies. The main third parties whose services may result in cookies being set are:
- Cloudflare - used for DNS and security. Cloudflare may set
__cf_bm(bot management) andcf_clearancecookies. - Stripe - sets cookies described in 2.1 above when you visit payment-related pages.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels for retargeting, or social media embeds that set third-party advertising cookies.
3. What we don't do with cookies
- We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles.
- We do not sell or share cookie data with advertising networks.
- We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
4. How to manage cookies
4.1 Browser settings
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- see what cookies are stored
- block cookies from specific sites
- block third-party cookies generally
- delete all cookies when you close the browser
